 Mission: To Create Unity, Honor
Diversity, and Achieve Equal Human Rights throughout our Region
and the World.
Purpose: To Coordinate and Promote Lesbian, Gay,
Bisexual, and Transgender PrideEvents in Seattle and the Pacific
Northwest, which Celebrate the Present, Envision the future, and
Honor the Past.
Seattle Pride® is a month long celebration during June. Seattle Pride is one of the largest Pride events in the country, has no paid staff, and an all volunteer Board of Directors.
Sponsorships are sought to offset expenses. The parade, which is always a highlight of the celebratory weekend, will kickoff at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 29th from Westlake Center, Downtown Seattle.
In 2006 the event was edited into a two hour broadcast on CW11 KSTW (formerly UPN11) and was rebroadcast two additional times and also shown in Vancouver B.C. by their sister network.
