Parade Awards

The Seattle Pride theme for 2012 is The Many Faces of Pride and we are excited to see what contingents have done to show their Pride. The Parade Awards recognize the entries that stand out to our judges.
The areas that our judges will be focusing on are:
- Best celebration of the theme
- Most colorful
- Outstanding presentation
- Most unexpected
- Brilliance
- Uniqueness
Prizes will be awarded for First, Second and Third Place. In addition to getting a complimentary entry for the 2013 Pride Parade, the award for First Place is $500; Second Place is $250; and Third Place is $100.
Judges will be located at Westlake Center near 4th Avenue and Pine Streets. If you are a part of a contingent or float, please make sure you have your banners and identifications very visible in that area so judges can easily spot your group.
Winners will be announced at 3 PM at the Seattle Center on June 24.
