4th Annual Seattle Pride Picnic set for June 15 at Volunteer Park

(Seattle, May 24, 2013) -- It has been nearly 40 years since the first Pride celebration in Seattle, but this year will be the first in which city leaders display the rainbow flag at City Hall throughout the entire month of June.
Historic list of Grand Marshals announced for 2013 Parade
(Seattle, April 15, 2013) -- The selection of Grand Marshals for this year's Seattle Pride Parade was announced today, and among them Jane Lighty and Pete-e Petersen, who as a result of the passage of Referendum 74; which approved the legalization of same-sex marriage in Washington State became the first same-sex couple to be granted a wedding license in State history.
