Seattle Pride

Pride Month is nearly here which means June will be crammed with all things LGBTQIA+. From music festivals to drag show brunches the 30-day span of events is sure to have something for everyone. Here are some dates for Seattle Pride curated events that you need to save. Don’t blink now or you might miss them!

Seattle Pride in the Park – June 4, Volunteer Park

After two years in cyberspace, we are back in person to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community during Pride Month. We will begin our Family Reunion (this year’s theme!) at the beginning of Pride Month with Seattle Pride in the Park. This free-to-attend event will feature a can’t-miss lineup of local LGBTQIA+ performances co-curated in partnership with Taking B(l)ack Pride, activities, food trucks, an alcohol garden, non-profit booths and much more.

Headlining this year’s event is Fly Moon Royalty, Seattle-based duo comprised of vocalist, Adra Boo and DJ Mike Illvester. The festivities will be hosted by emcees Goddess Briq House, a Seattle-based burlesque performer and Ceasar Hart, a local-favorite Drag King performer.

Seattle Pride in the Park is open to all ages with family events available throughout the day including Drag Queen Storytime with Cookie Couture.

Seattle Pride Parade – June 26, 4th Ave, Downtown Seattle

The Seattle Pride Parade wraps up Pride Month on the last weekend of June. Over 400,000 parade-goers are expected, and we want you to be one of them! The Seattle Pride Parade is our opportunity to come together as a full force Family Reunion and commemorate the past, celebrate new wins for equality, and get encouragement for the work yet to come.

The parade will feature the participation of some of Seattle’s most beloved brands and businesses, community groups, and civic leaders. The parade route will have alcohol gardens for attendees ages 21 and up and a designated non-alcoholic space for all ages. Seattle Pride is about inclusiveness – so all ages are invited to join in on watching the parade. For those who want to march in the parade, we are accepting registration until May 31 - sign up to march in the parade here.

Grandstand seating along the parade route will be available for purchase at SeattlePride.org with prices starting at $35 (seats go fast, so buy them early!).

Accessibility accommodations such as priority seating, ASL interpreters, ADA restrooms, and designated assistants to support individuals in accessing food and beverages will all be available.
