Pride is Visible
Pride is Visible

Our LGBTQIA+ community is overrepresented in those who experience homelessness.
When LGBTQIA+ youth disclose their identities, or they are outed to guardians, too often they are kicked out of their homes and left to find shelter and create chosen families for themselves. As winter approaches and COVID continues in full force, making masks, hats, and mittens is a small way the LGBTQIA+ community and our allies can show that we are more than rainbows and parades; we are fiercely protective of our chosen families.
