Accessibility Guide Seattle Pride in the Park Volunteer Park June 1st, 2024 12pm - 7pm Accessibility Highlights * ADA Parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis on Volunteer Park Road in the Seattle Asian Art Museum parking lot. Please enter Volunteer Park Road off E Prospect Street (south park entrance). * ADA-compliant portable restrooms are available near the intersection of Volunteer Park Road and E Highland Drive and near the Seattle Asian Art Museum parking lot on Volunteer Park Road. There are also restrooms located in the alcohol garden on the east lawn of Volunteer Park, near the dance stage. Additionally, there are restrooms located inside of the Seattle Asian Art Museum. * ASL Interpretation is available at the south east corner of the Amphitheater Mainstage. * Accessible priority seating is available in front of the stage, near the southeast corner. * Accessible paths are indicated throughout the map. Accessibility mats will be available where pathways indicated across grass. * Designated assistants are available at our Information Booth to support with food and beverage assistance. * The low-sensory zone is a decompression space with activities and sensory support (co-hosted by The Arc of King County). It is bordered on the south by the Seattle Asian Art Museum, where ADA toilets and parking are located. Center of park area In the center of the park area, a “food truck” street runs south to north between the ADA parking lot at the Seattle Asian Art Museum and East Highland Drive. Services and amenities located on this street are, in order of south to north: ADA information station, First Aid Tent, food trucks, and toilets (including ADA toilets). Curb ramps for crossing the “food truck street” are located by the ADA information station and just south of East Highland Drive. West side of park area On the west side of the “food truck street,” there are, in order of south to north: * Teen and Young Adult Tent * 50th Anniversary Art Exhibit * Family Tent * Amphitheater Mainstage with ASL interpreters * Booths East side of park area On the east side of the “food truck street,” there are, in order of south to north: * LGBTQIA2S+ Vendor Marketplace * Low Sensory Zone * Alcohol Garden (21+) with Dance-focused Stage inside (including ADA toilets) * Tables Location of restrooms, from south to north * Seattle Asian Art Museum (includes ADA toilets) * South end of Volunteer Park Road (near its intersection with the Seattle Asian Art Museum Parking Lot) * Alcohol Garden by East Stage (includes ADA toilets) * Intersection of the “food truck street” and East Highland Drive (southwest of the intersection) Accessible Pathway Starting in the south end of the park area, an accessible pathway connects the Seattle Asian Art Museum with its ADA parking lot to the west side Alcohol Garden with its ADA seating. The accessible pathway also connects with the ADA information station and First Aid Tent. The accessible pathway runs along both sides of the “food truck street,” where curb ramps are located to cross “food truck street” near the ADA information station (to the south) and just south of East Highland Drive (to the north). The accessible pathway continues on the east side of the park area, reaching the Alcohol Garden with its toilets (including ADA toilets) and the Low Sensory Zone.
